Hi! I’m Sam Klimp,

your friendly Interior Designer and the creative mind behind Approachable Home. A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s in Interior Design, I’ve been immersed in the world of design for over a decade, honing my skills in both commercial and residential spaces.

Originally from Michigan, I moved to Atlanta after college, where I not only started my professional career but also met my wonderful husband, Dalton. We now reside in coastal south Georgia, raising two incredible kids who keep life vibrant and fun.

For me, design isn’t just a job – it’s a passion. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping clients transform their spaces into reflections of their personalities and lifestyles.

Whenever people learn that I’m an Interior Designer, one of the first responses is “I have no idea where to start.” And that’s where the idea for Approachable Home was born.

Approachable Home is here to help you navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of interior design, providing guidance, support and expertise. I’ll help define your vision, create plans and then empower you to take it from there and run with it. By focusing on front-end design, Approachable Home keeps design fees affordable without compromising on quality or creativity.
